Update: Blizzard has revealed about the returning King’s Row Uprising event, which will run from April 10-30.
Blizzard’s official description of the event reads:
“Journey seven years into the past and join a group of Overwatch agents fighting through the streets of King’s Row to quell an uprising led by Null Sector, a rogue group of omnics. Team up with your friends and play as Tracer, Torbjörn, Reinhardt, or Mercy to defeat the robots and liberate the city. Collect 160 items including legendary skins Cadet Oxton Tracer, Chief Engineer Lindholm Torbjörn, Combat Medic Ziegler Mercy, Blackwatch Genji, Talon Widowmaker, and more.”
Original story follows:
Overwatch‘s Uprising seasonal event will return on Tuesday, April 10.
Blizzard shared the news in a post on Twitter, which includes the following teaser:

The Uprising event rewinds time to give players the opportunity to relive a key moment in Overwatch’s past and dive into some of the stories behind the game’s diverse group of heroes. There will be over 100 declassified loot box items featuring pieces of the past to unlock, and players will be able to join Tracer on her first mission in the Uprising co-op brawl.
Last year’s Uprising event, which ran from April 11 through May 1, put players in the shoes of a set of Overwatch agents tasked with stopping an omnic uprising in King’s Row propagated by the omnic group Null Sector.
Earlier this week, Blizzard announced Overwatch World Cup 2018, which sees the best Overwatch players from around the world competing in the hopes of making it to the finals in Southern California this November.
