Gotham: Fox Renews Batman Prequel Series for Fifth and Final Season

Fox has renewed its Batman prequel series Gotham for a fifth and final season.

Variety reports Gotham will return for Season 5, which will focus on Bruce Wayne’s transformation into the Dark Knight. A premiere date for the new season has not been set.

Fox has also renewed Lethal Weapon for Season 3 with Seann William Scott as the new co-lead, and has canceled The Last Man on Earth, The Mick, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, although the latter has been since revived by NBC for a sixth season.
